It is very simple. You sign an agreement with DiffeRENT rather than signing an agreement with a tenant. From this moment, you don't have to do anything, we'll do the rest. Our contract will last 3-5 years and can be extended if desired. We always operate on a win-win basis.

If we agree to work together you get your deposit and first monthly payment instantly after OK-ing the paperwork which is drafted by our solicitor


We usually add value to the property by using our knowledge and experience to make it look fresh and up-to-date with current market needs.


We fill the property with our carefully selected tenants on strict conditions (using our special process) to make sure they look after the house and keep it nice and clean.


We manage homes regularly including regular inspections, maintenance, cleaning and gardening.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUSETIONS

1. What is DiffeRENT responsible for? We are responsible for paying you agreed monthly rent every month. We take care of filling the house with our tenants, ensuring the utilities and council tax are paid. We are also responsible for keeping the properties in a clean and nice condition. We are responsible for dealing with tenant’s issues in case of any problems. As our tenants usually expect high standards and safe accommodation, we take the responsibility for upgrading the interior, decorating or furnishing the house which requires upfront investment from our end.

2. Am I, as a landlord responsible for anything at all? As a landlord you’ll need to make sure that exterior/structure of the building is sound. We are not responsible for repairing exterior parts of the building, example: roof, structural soundness. As a landlord you are also responsible that the building is insured with the appropriate landlord product that adequate safety and environmental certificates are in place e.g. Gas Safety, EPC, Electrical Safety. It is also you responsibility to look after your mortgage if you have one.

3. Will I still make the same amount of money as usual? Yes. You tell us how much you want to get paid. We usually are able to pay the same amount of money as you would earn from letting your property normally. We guarantee you rent every month, no matter if the house is fully tenanted or not.

4. Do you charge any commission or any other fees? NO. We don’t charge you anything. We earn our commission from the tenants.

5. Too good to be true – how does DiffeRENT make money? As we work with local businesses and provide the quality accommodation for professionals with very flexible terms offering professional services we are able to receive a mark-up on the monthly rent. May sound like a lot of work, but we love what we do and have all necessary procedures in place to make the whole process as efficient as possible.

6. What if the house is not tenanted? You still get you guaranteed rent. We take the risk of voids on us.
